Assurant Solutions Appoints Managing Director, UK and Ireland

SLOUGH, UK: Assurant Solutions has promoted Drazen Jaksic to managing director, UK and Ireland, taking over from Ian Moffatt, who was recently promoted to president and CEO Europe, Assurant Solutions. In his new role, which is effective immediately, Drazen will have overall responsibility for each of the businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Since joining Assurant Solutions in 2007 as the sales and marketing director, Drazen has played a key role in developing the corporate business. Ian Moffatt, president and CEO Europe, Assurant Solutions, commented: “Drazen brings a wealth of experience to the role and his appointment will add to the strong leadership team we have at Assurant Solutions. His energy, enthusiasm and forward-thinking will be a key factor in taking the businesses to their next phase of growth in the UK and Ireland.”

Prior to joining Assurant Solutions, Drazen spent three years at Prudential as head of relationship management and account development director. Before this, he spent 12 years at GE Capital in a variety of senior executive roles, including managing director of Three X Communication and general manager of GE Financial Insurance, Central Europe.
